Gkai food is quite helpful for families who are financially struggling especially with rising costs in food.

All donations are greatly received and shared amongst our whānau who seek support.

GKR continues to make a huge impact into the poorest community of Gisborne. There are so many obstacles our community face every day and to have this kai each week eases the burden our whanau are facing.

We have many single income whanau; partners are Orchard or field workers. Their mahi and wages are very dependent on the weather.  If it's been a wet week, there is no or very little money coming in.  Gizzy Kai parcels are received with a lot of thanks.

Gizzy Kai has been immensely helpful, the whanau that receive Kai parcels are so grateful for this support.

Families are grateful when staff turn up with food and are extremely happy and grateful to receive the extra assistance.
